The literary festival dedicated to books and reading returns to Mestre once again. After the great success of last year, it is back with an international line-up.
The second edition will take place from 4 to 16 June, featuring many new highlights, following the highly anticipated preview with the acclaimed crime writer Don Winslow, who presented City in Ruins, his latest novel and the conclusion of the trilogy dedicated to Danny Ryan—an event for which we at Finking were proud to provide interpreting services.
The festival will unfold across various locations throughout the city, including Piazza Ferretto, the cloister of the M9 Museum and several other participating commercial venues. It will host authors of national and international renown, such as Cédric Sapin-Dufour, Javier Castillo and Eshkol Nevo, accompanied by Finking’s team of interpreters.
The Municipality of Venice and Confcommercio Mestre, which funded and organised the initiative, are expecting great enthusiasm and a city in celebration, with the aim of revitalising the world of books and bringing literature back to the city centre. They also hope that the festival will engage as many generations as possible.
