From 4 to 16 June, the Mestre Bookfest, an initiative that was an extraordinary success in our city last year, will return in its second edition.
This literary festival will feature authors of international renown, whom the public will have the opportunity to get to know closely thanks to the presentation meetings, and will even be able to take part in lunches in their company at restaurants and venues in the city centre.
This initiative, of great cultural depth, is certainly intended to animate and revitalise the city and we hope that it will become a regular event and be repeated every year.

On 11 May there will be a highly anticipated Festival preview: the appointment with Don Winslow, one of the most representative authors of the contemporary American detective story, at the Candiani Cultural Centre.
The author will present City in Ruins, his latest novel, published in Italy by HarperCollins and which will be the last of his career. It will therefore be a unique occasion for lovers of this genre, who in addition to attending Don Winslow’s talk will be able to participate in the subsequent signacopie.
Don’t miss out on this high-profile meeting, for which we at Finking are honoured to offer interpreting services.
We would like to thank Confcommercio Mestre and the Municipality of Venice for promoting and organising this event once again this year, which succeeds in bringing prestige to a city that, as we all know, is in great need of being redeveloped and revitalised with healthy initiatives.
