On Saturday, May 10 and Sunday, May 11, 2025, the Via Torre Belfredo Park in Mestre will host the sixth spring edition of Il Giardino Ritrovato di Renata, an event that combines volunteering, crafts, gastronomy and entertainment, with the aim of supporting charitable causes and strengthening the local social fabric. Organized by the “Il Faro” association and part of the City of Venice’s Le Città in Festa schedule, the event is dedicated to the memory of Renata Bernardi, a historic promoter of the initiative who passed away in September 2024. Proceeds from the event will be donated to:
Women’s Committee April 25, which through sewing and embroidery activities raises funds for women housed in the shelters of the Anti-Violence Center of the City of Venice.
Asanti Sana Association, committed to assisting the villagers of Ndithini village in Kenya, with special attention to orphaned, sick and undernourished children.
A local citizen suffering from serious illnesses, also supported thanks to the collaboration of the local Alpine Association.

Saturday, May 10: from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., solidarity market with stands of voluntary associations, artisans and gastronomy. At 4 p.m., performance by the choir “Gli Stonati di Venezia,” followed by musical apericena.
Sunday, May 11: from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., continuation of the market. At 9 a.m., non-competitive 6-kilometer walk to Fort Marghera, starting from the park and final buffet offered to participants. From 4 p.m., music and cabaret with “La Compagnia del Sonno Perso.”
In case of bad weather, the event will not take place.
