From 1 to 30 September 2024, the Michelangelo Foundation presented the third edition of Homo Faber, in partnership with the Giorgio Cini Foundation and the Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte. Hosted at the Giorgio Cini Foundation on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, the exhibition celebrated excellence in international craftsmanship. With artistic direction by Luca Guadagnino and in collaboration with architect Nicolò Rosmarini, the theme The Journey of Life explored the fundamental stages of human life through art and master craftsmanship.
From childhood to dreams, from love stories to journeys, Homo Faber 2024 offered a symbolic voyage through life, featuring unique objects created by artisans from all over the world. Inspired by an idea by Hanneli Rupert, Vice Chair of the Michelangelo Foundation, the exhibition design guided visitors along a path that wove together tradition and innovation.

In addition to the main exhibition, the Homo Faber in Città programme invited participants to explore Venice through itineraries of artisan workshops, offering an immersive experience of outstanding craftsmanship. The Finking team had the opportunity to visit the exhibition and was captivated by the elegance and craftsmanship of the works on display, which made Homo Faber 2024 a truly memorable experience.
