Global Recycling Day is celebrated every year on 18 March.
The theme of this year’s day is #RecyclingHeroes, or the people, places and activities that have demonstrated how recycling plays a fornamental role in contributing to a better planet and a better future.
This day was created by the Global Recycling Foundation in 2018 to recognise and showcase the importance that recycling plays in preserving primary resources and safeguarding the future of our planet.

Recyclable materials, also called the ‘seventh resource’, play a central role in the circular economy and help to safeguard humanity’s six key natural resources.
Recycling saves 700 million tonnes of CO2 emissions each year and offsets all emissions generated by the aviation industry.
As one of our specialisations is the import/export of waste, we are well-informed about the sector and are supported by a consultant who helps us to keep up-to-date.
Our consultant also organises courses on waste management and disposal that cover various environmental topics, including the various legal definitions, waste codification and the correct filling in of related forms.
