Today from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. we look forward to welcoming you at Ca’ Mestre for the official presentation of the Finking Calendar 2026, created as part of a meaningful artistic and social initiative: Progetto Marzenego, a collaboration between Finking, La Rosa Blu Social Cooperative, Il Giardino Ritrovato and artist Manuele Boscolo (Manucomix).
The calendar we are presenting today is not just an illustrated object: it is the result of a creative journey that, throughout 2025, involved young people with intellectual disabilities in a series of weekly art workshops led by Manuele Boscolo.
Participants explored the Marzenego River—its history, its course, and its hidden curiosities—through research, field visits, photographs, drawings and notes, transforming each discovery into the images that will become the months of the Finking 2026 Calendar.
This project was born with clear goals: promoting inclusion, creating synergy among local institutions, associations and businesses, and supporting fundraising for the organisations involved.
The work developed during the workshops also led to the creation of a painting dedicated to the Marzenego, which will be unveiled during the Il Giardino Ritrovato event in November 2025 and submitted to the Mestre Prize 2026.
Today’s presentation at Ca’ Mestre offers a preview of this journey, providing a privileged look at Manucomix’s illustrations and at the cultural and social foundation that supports the entire project.
