We at Finking participated in the Mestre BookFest again this year, enthusiastically renewing a collaboration that has been going on for several editions.
Our team provided consecutive interpreting services in two highlights of the program: the meeting with Javier Castillo and Susana Martín Gijón, during which we provided interpreting from Spanish to Italian and vice versa, and the presentation with Martta Kaukonen, for which we took care of the translation between English and Italian. Two intense and engaging events that brought international authors and Italian audiences into dialogue, breaking down language barriers and fostering cultural exchange.

Alongside the work onstage, we wanted to give a creative touch offstage as well, participating in the contest for the best showcase. For the occasion, Elenik – our mascot – is sporting a new outfit entirely themed Mestre BookFest, designed to tell the spirit of the event in an original and visual way. If you are curious about the showcase, you can take a look at our social pages, where we shared some previews.
The winners of the contest will be announced during the final evening on Sunday, and we can’t wait to find out the outcome of this challenge between ideas and set-ups!
Being part of Mestre BookFest, year after year, is a concrete way for us to support culture, literature and communication in all its forms, but also local initiatives that aim to give value to our city. We will continue to put our voice, head and passion into it. Here’s to many more editions together!
