Spring is here, what better opportunity to celebrate it than with the FAI Spring Days? On Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 March, many historical and cultural landmarks, which are usually closed to the public, will be exceptionally open to give everyone the chance to enjoy their wonders.
After all, Italy is rich in architectural works and landscapes, many of which are unknown or even forgotten to the most. This initiative gives us the chance to contribute to the preservation of our artistic/cultural heritage. Therefore, we would like to invite all our readers to take part in this initiative in order to spend a weekend in the name of culture.
In particular, we would like to point out some of the most interesting places in the city of Venice:
- the Venice Naval Arsenal
- the Olivetti shop
- the Court of Venice and its historic courtrooms
- the G. Nicelli Civil Airport
- the Sandi Palace
In addition, villas, churches, historical palaces, castles, museums and archaeological sites will be open to the public, as well as examples of industrial archaeology, art collections, libraries, civil and military buildings, workplaces and craft workshops. Tours of small villages, natural areas, city parks, botanical and historic gardens will be available, too.
