“It happened, therefore it can happen again: this is the core of what we have to say.”
(Primo Levi, The Drowned and the Saved)
Holocaust Remembrance Day commemorates the Nazi extermination of the Jewish people. Nazi-Fascist persecution inflicted a traumatic wound on all sectors of society, families, workplaces, cities, culture and science, and generated post-traumatic effects across all ages and throughout generations.
On this occasion, TraumaLivingLab, under the patronage of SISST, is organising a free event to reflect on the Holocaust and on other more recent genocides, hosting contributions that offer narratives of collective trauma from different perspectives.
