The first edition of the High-end Italian Craftsmanship Fair took place from 28 September to 1 October at the Venice Arsenal. This evocative venue was the backdrop for the works of numerous master craftsmen from all over Italy.
The fair was an opportunity to meet these artisans, discover their creative process, and to admire and purchase objects of the highest quality.

Our Elena and Mary Ann were present on one of the days and were really enthusiastic about this event. Here are their comments:
“This first edition of the fair was a discovery, I particularly enjoyed the part of the exhibition dedicated to art schools, young people working with glass, making lace and producing mosaics. It is important to encourage young people not to lose the craft traditions of their land.”
Elena
“This visit to the Show made me reflect on how important it is to value and give voice to the reality of craftsmanship, especially in a country like ours that has so much to offer. In a world that travels at the speed of the big multinationals, we should learn that it is not always better to have everything and now, but that when possible it is worth choosing products designed and created with extreme care, meticulousness and dedication, special in their uniqueness.”
Mary Ann
