Since 2015, Italian Law no. 107/15 has made participation in the School–Work Alternation Project compulsory for all students during the final three years of upper secondary education.
The minimum number of hours required is 200 hours for students attending upper secondary schools (licei), and 400 hours for students enrolled in technical and vocational institutes.
The project was introduced to allow students to experience the world of work before completing their studies, with the aim of strengthening the knowledge acquired at school and testing it in a real professional environment.
Finking made itself available to host two students required to complete this programme.
Although at first young people may appear inexperienced or uncertain, these very aspects encourage them to challenge themselves, apply their knowledge and become actively involved in the workplace.
For us, it was a pleasure to take part in this project which, when structured in a dynamic, stimulating and participatory way, can become a valuable opportunity both for students and for the company itself.
